GTM Strategist

GTM Strategist
A customer-facing role spanning sales, delivery, and product. You'll spend time with large pharmas and leading biotechs to deploy Capsule AI, and partner with leading Silicon Valley AI engineers to build the next product. The weighting between the three areas flexes to your strengths.
We're looking for someone who's spent time in or around pharma, biotech, or life sciences consulting or investing and seen the problems firsthand. You should be using LLMs in your own work and curious about where the industry is going.
Your role will be customer-facing and directly scaling the business. You'll work directly with the cofounders and GTM lead.
What you'll do
- Drive new business: generate pipeline, run discovery, and scope new deals.
- Lead customer engagements post-sale: configure Capsule to fit each team's workflows and make sure they get value from it.
- Help prioritize what we build next based on what you hear from customers.
- Work with engineers to build out the platform and workflows.
What we're looking for
- 2+ years in a customer-facing, delivery, consulting, or product-adjacent role — likely in life sciences consulting, pharma/biotech, vertical SaaS selling into life sciences, life sciences investment banking, or a similar path.
- Life sciences fluency, or a demonstrated ability to ramp quickly on a complex industry.
- Strong communication and executive presence.
- A builder's mindset: when you see a gap, you figure out how to fix it rather than wait for permission.
- AI-native — you use AI tools daily to research, draft, and compound your output, and you're excited to sell and deploy AI.
- Comfort with ambiguity, ownership, and start-up pace.
Nice to have
- Prior experience at a high-growth startup.
- Exposure to competitive intelligence, market research, commercial, medical affairs, or BD workflows.
- Degree in a life sciences domain.

Founding Software Engineer (AI / Full Stack)

Founding Software Engineer (AI / Full Stack)
You'll be a founding engineer building the core systems behind Capsule AI — the agentic infrastructure, data pipelines, and applications that turn unstructured science into traceable, decision-ready outputs for life sciences teams.
This role is deliberately flexible, with room to lean toward AI/agentic work or full-stack product work depending on your strengths and interests. You'll have end-to-end ownership of significant features, work directly with Capsule's GTM team to understand real gaps, and ship quickly.
Our stack includes purpose-built models (scientific OCR, domain embeddings, voice model), knowledge graphs, a multi-agent orchestration layer, and customer-facing workflow applications.
What you'll do
- Design, build, and own significant features across the stack — from data pipelines and APIs through to the interfaces customers interact with.
- Build and optimize agentic systems: planning, tool use, retrieval, and evaluation, leveraging our proprietary life sciences data and models.
- Take projects end-to-end, from ambiguous problems through production deployment, ensuring reliability, scalability, and accuracy.
- Opportunities for forward-deployment with Top 10 pharmas.
- Work directly with internal teams to refine product capabilities based on real feedback.
- Contribute to engineering best practices around testing, observability, and security.
What we're looking for
- 3+ years of professional software engineering experience as a generalist comfortable working across the stack.
- Strong fundamentals and proficiency in Python and TypeScript (or similar), with experience building LLM and agentic systems (retrieval, tool use, evals, agent loops).
- Evidence you ship: side projects, open source, anything that shows the work is real — a track record of shipping impactful features with high attention to reliability and detail.
- Comfort with ambiguity. We don't have a PM; you help define requirements.
Nice to have
- Previous experience at high-growth startups (Pre-seed, Seed, Series A).
- Experience training or fine-tuning ML / deep learning models.
- Demonstrated interest in life sciences (bio, chem, pharma).
- CS / computer engineering degree or equivalent experience.
